These Terms and Disclaimer govern your use of services provided by Talk Birch. By booking or using any services, you agree to these Terms and the disclaimer.
1. Services provided- I provide two types of services-
- Therapy Services (Indian client’s only)
Therapy services are offered exclusively to Indian clients and are conducted in accordance with applicable professional and legal standards. I don’t provide psychotherapy for international clients nor do I deal with any severe mental health conditions for them. - Coaching Services (International Clients)
Coaching services are available for international clients and focus on personal development and self-awareness.
Important: Coaching is not therapy and does not involve diagnosis, treatment or management of any severe mental health conditions.
2. Eligibility-
- Therapy services are available only to Indian clients.
- International clients may only access coaching services.
- By booking a session, you confirm that the information you provide about your location and nationality is accurately mentioned in the client intake form.
3. Confidentiality- All sessions are treated as confidential. I keep no audio or video recordings of my sessions. I do take notes during the session with my client’s consent, which is not shared with anyone.
For therapy clients (who are Indian):Confidentiality may be legally broken if there is a risk of severe harm to self or others, or if there are any legal obligations (court orders, etc.).
4. Payments and Refunds-
- Except for the first session, all sessions must be paid in advance.
- Payments are non-refundable unless explicitly stated otherwise.
- In case of cancellation by me, a reschedule or refund will be offered.
5. Cancellation and Rescheduling- A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required to reschedule or cancel. Late cancellations made within 24 hours will incur a 50% cancellation fee. I understand that emergencies can arise, so I allow up to two late cancellations per year without charge.
6. Official communication and Fraud prevention- All communication from Talk Birch will only be made through the official contact details provided on this website.
- I will never request payments, personal information, or sensitive details from you through any unofficial email, phone number, or messaging platform. Please ensure that any payment is made only through the official links or methods listed on this website.
- If you receive any suspicious messages claiming to be from me that are not from the official contact details, please disregard them and report them immediately.
- You are responsible for verifying that any communication you receive is from an official source before taking action or making a payment.
7. Limitation of liability- Talk Birch is not liable for any decisions, actions, or outcomes resulting from the use of services.
8. Updates- These Terms may be updated at any time. Continued use of services constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
9. Disclaimer-
- a) Not Therapy for International Clients- Coaching services are intended for educational and personal development purposes only and are not a substitute for psychotherapy or mental health treatment for severe mental health issues.
- b) No Guarantees- No specific results or outcomes are guaranteed from therapy or coaching services.
- c) Personal Responsibility- You acknowledge that you are fully responsible for your decisions, actions, and results arising from sessions.
- d) Emotional Risk- Personal development and therapy work may involve emotional discomfort. By engaging in services, you acknowledge and accept this.
- e) Emergency Disclaimer- I do not provide crisis or emergency services. If you are experiencing:

- (ii) Severe emotional distress
- (iii) A mental health emergency
